Process Analyzer Engineer (Permanent Position)

What you will be doing

  • Design and specify on-line analyzers, analyzer systems & fast loop sampling system for use in a petrochemical or refining manufacturing facility, identify opportunities for deploying cost effective new technologies.
  • Develop equipment strategies in line with site reliability system requirements. Coordinate new or replacement analyzer projects including commissioning
  • Design, implement and support process analyzer system.
  • Manage projects for implementation of process analyzer systems including calibration and maintenance procedures, engineering documentation, installation recommendations, Change Control Requests, hardware qualification, and process validation

 What you should have

  • B. Eng. / B. Sc. / M. Sc. / Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (preferably with specialization in instrumentation or electronics).
  • Direct experience with a variety of analytical chemistry techniques (Gas Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry, Infrared & Ultraviolet Spectroscopy) and experience with Physical property Analyzers / Gas Detectors.
  • 4 – 5 years of experience in Online Process Analyzers in the petrochemical industry or equivalent will be an added advantage.


Fire protection Engineer  (Contract Position)

What you will be doing

  • Develop scope of work & cost estimates to support proposals for fire protection system
  • Provide design of fire protection systems to produce bid and construction documents including drawings and specifications.
  • Review codes and client specifications.
  • Design new or modification of existing fire protection systems including suppression systems
  • Perform analysis of existing fire protection systems.
  • Ensure that all assigned activities and operations comply with applicable codes, regulations and laws.
  • Coordinate site activities
  • Prepare contractual documents for field work, maintenance & project activities
  • Conduct site visits to obtain necessary field data for design
  • Field inspection and commissioning of fire suppression system & fire sprinkler systems.
  • Review plans and specifications

 What you should have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or Fire Protection Engineering Technology is required.
  • 5+ years of work experience in fire protection system
  • Hands on experience in fire protection system design, installation, inspection, testing & maintenance


  • Deluge system (Pre-action system, water foam system).
  • Firefighting & Sprinkler systems (Wet system, Dry system, foam system, pre-action system).
  • FM200 system, CO2 and Automatic Dry Powder system.
  • Building fire codes and standards.
  • National Fire Protection Association Standards and Guidelines
  • Manual and Automatic Fire Alarm Systems
  • Fire Detection Systems
